Join us on Saturday, August 3rd for a joyful, social bike ride – all about celebrating cycling and community.

The Summertime Rides are back to keep you pedaling through the season, and we are excited to announce our next ride in partnership with Independence Blue Cross (IBX), the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, the Bicycle Coalition Youth Cycling program, Kings Rule Together (KRT) and Queens Rule Together (QRT) Bike Club, and SOAR Racing.

From Center City, you’ll head up the Ben Franklin Parkway and stop into Sedgley Porter House to learn more about the Coalition’s Youth Cycling program and meet some of their youth riders! Continue on up the Schuylkill on MLK Drive and cross over the Falls River Bridge. Then ride down scenic Kelly Dr. and pass by the Oval and the Rocky Steps before heading back to Center City and the IBX Courtyard for snacks and refreshments.

This social bike ride is a free event, recommended for cyclists who feel comfortable cruising through the city while sharing the road with other vehicles. Snacks and refreshments will be available after the ride!

Don’t forget to wear a helmet!
